McCandless Proposed K-6 School Approval
Approval of the soil remediation report, Milpitas Unified School District, McCandless proposed K-6 school site.
The soil removal and bioremediation were conducted in accordance with the DTSC-approved Removal Action Workplan (RAW - Padre, February 5, 2016). Soil impacted with naturally-occurring asbestos (NOA) will be mitigated as part of the school construction.
In-situ bioremediation was completed for approximately 16,400 cubic yards of PCB-contaminated soil.

California properties 2005 - 2007
- The Borello Property is located in Santa Clara County, CA. The property consists of a 14 acre parcel previously contaminated with elevated concentrations of Toxaphene and Dieldrin in the surface soil from pesticide use as an orchard from the early 1900s.
- North American Transformer - South Yard Property; Santa Clara County, CA. Over 16,000 cubic yards of soil was polluted with Aroclor 1254 and 1260 PCBs.
- Mantegani Property; South San Francisco, CA. 0.6acre parcel polluted with the pesticides DDT, DDE,chlordane, Endosulfan II, and Dieldrin, from the 19302 through the 1980s.
